Excel Output - Dan - 05-16-2011
I have started using this CMM with VDMIS5.5 about 2 months and I learned the software by myself which I found really easy software to learn.
Our customer want us to generate the report in Excel sheet so we have to fill out the Excel template they have supplied to us but so far I did not find the way to do that in VDMIS although the version we have include the Excel output option.
Any help about the excel output option will be greatly appreciated.

You need to click on the Excel icon in the output Window to open an Excel file which could be a new file or existing one like and existing Excel template.
To send the result of any feature to the excel sheet just drag it to the output window then click on the button âSend Whole data to Excelâ.
The send the any result from the tolerance menu to Xcel like Distance, Angle True Positions â¦etc you need to select the cell on the Excel sheet where you want that value to go then click right mouse button on the result box in the Tolerance dialogue Box.
I hope that will help enough to start using the Excel module.
